When we had 5 stores in one local district in 1984 and knew nothing about systems we were introduced to Island Pacific who provided ONE integrated system that combined merchandising, purchasing, distribution and financials. Now, some twenty five years later, Urban Outfitters is a global business of over 300 stores doing $1.8BN in sales across many different brands and we are still using Island Pacific.
